Shipping Requirements
If your cart includes any 'Perishable' items, we strongly recommend selecting FEDEX 2ND DAY (outside of Iowa). Ulrichsmeatmarket.com/Ulrich Meat Market will not be held responsible for the timely delivery or the safe consumption of perishables shipped GROUND (outside of Iowa); and you understand the risk of doing so, and release the us and the shipper from all liabilities.
All shipping withn Iowa will be shipped GROUND for faster service.
Coolers
In warm weather and for long distances, we use shipping coolers to maintain freshness of your perishables. Between April 1st and December 1st the shipping cooler is required for all perishables. You may want to add the cooler option during other times of the year if the temperature/distance warrants it. You can add the cooler when you add any perishable item to your cart.
Shipping Items to Multiple Addresses
Please call us at 641-628-2771 to place orders that will have multiple shipping
addresses.
Tracking a Package
When your order is packaged and ready to be sent, we supply the email address
given with the order to FedEx. You will then receive an email confirmation of
shipment and links to track your package from FedEx. If you do not receive an
email from FedEx, please contact us
to obtain your tracking number and follow this link to proceed to track your
package.

Email Notification
As soon as we receive your order, we will send an email confirmation which
will also show when your credit card will be billed. If you do not receive an email
confirmation within 24 hours (Monday-Saturday), please
contact us to make sure
your order was received and processed.
Shipping Days
We send out FedEx Express and Ground (with destinations outside of Iowa) on
Monday-Wednesday. We send out FedEx Ground packages, with residential
destinations outside Iowa Monday-Thursday (FedEx Ground will not deliver to
businesses on Saturdays).
- For any orders received after 1pm Monday-Thursday, please note the package will be sent the next available shipping day.
Holidays
We ask that our FedEx Ground customers place their orders for fresh products 14
days BEFORE Christmas; we will not ship any fresh product FEDEX GROUND after
that time period due to the extremely high volume of shipments that time of year
which can delay your package, causing it to perish (FedEx may sometimes be
running 24-48 hours behind schedule, but this only applies to the Holiday season
every other time of year FedEx is reliable for delivery as specified per the
FedEx Zone Map).
As always, you will have the option of sending fresh products FedEx 2-Day
Express to ensure delivery up until the Monday of the week of Christmas.
